Ruth Circle

Circle Name: Ruth

Why did you choose that name? We chose ‘Ruth’ because of the character of the Biblical Ruth.  We want our circle to imitate her character:

R – Respect; She respected Naomi even though they had differences.  She respected Naomi’s God.

U – Understanding; She understood Naomi’s situation and reacted to it.

T – Trustworthy; She did what she said she would do.

H – Helpfulness; She supplied Naomi’s needs.

Ruth took Naomi’s God as her own.  She is in the lineage of Jesus.

Activities (service projects, studies, etc.): We are studying the book ‘The Applause of Heaven’ by Max Lucado.

We are helping with the preschool worship program during second service by providing workers.

We are planning on sponsoring a child from Haiti.
